Privacy Policy

BC Consulting Group LLC (“BC Consulting,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and to being clear about how information is collected, used, and safeguarded. This policy explains how we process information when you visit bcconsulting.io, use our online tools, or contact us. Our learning platform at lms.bcconsulting.io has its own terms; this policy covers it where it collects the same categories of information.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. Your name, email address, phone number, job title, organization, and anything you write in a contact form, a meeting booking, or a direct message to us.

AI tool submissions. When you use an interactive tool on this site, such as the Multi-Prompter, the text you enter is transmitted securely for processing so a response can be generated.

Technical information. IP address, browser type and version, time zone, operating system, and standard web log information.

Usage data. How you interact with the site, including the pages you visit and how long you spend on them.

2. How we use information

We use this information to provide, operate, and improve our consulting services and online tools; to respond to inquiries and communicate with you; to generate responses from our AI tools; to monitor site performance, analytics, and security; and to meet legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal information.

3. AI processing and automation

Some features of this site use workflow automation and artificial intelligence. When you submit text to an AI-powered tool, it is transmitted over HTTPS to our own application hosted on Microsoft Azure, and the response is generated by a large language model running in Microsoft Azure AI Foundry under Microsoft’s enterprise data protection terms. Inputs are not used to train foundation models. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal information into a publicly available AI tool.

4. Data retention

We follow data minimization. AI tool inputs are processed in real time and are not intentionally stored long term unless a tool says otherwise; limited logging may occur for security monitoring and reliability. Contact form and booking submissions are retained for business communication. Information is kept only as long as it is reasonably needed.

5. Sharing of information

We share information with service providers that help us operate the site and deliver our services: Microsoft (Azure hosting, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Bookings for scheduling), HubSpot (contact forms and customer relationship management), and analytics providers. Each operates under its own security and compliance framework. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or in response to valid legal process.

6. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards: encryption in transit with TLS, role-based access controls, secure credential management, and the security controls of our cloud infrastructure. No system can guarantee absolute security, and we follow industry practice to protect information.

7. Cookies and analytics

This site may use cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality, analyze performance, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, to request deletion where applicable, and to object to certain processing. 9. Children’s privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. The First Light game and app

The First Light is a free game from BC Consulting, played on the web at bcconsulting.io/first-light and in the app for iPhone, iPad, and Android. It has no account or login, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking, and we do not sell any information from it. Your game progress is saved only on your device; we cannot see it, and deleting the app deletes the saved game.

Live AI conversations. Two characters, Vincent and Bryan, can answer questions you type. These conversations are optional, and in the app they start only after you agree to them. When you use them, your messages go over HTTPS to our application on Microsoft Azure, and a large language model in Azure AI Foundry writes the reply, as described in section 3. To enforce daily conversation limits, the game uses a random identifier: a cookie on the web, or an ID the app creates on your device. The identifier is not linked to your name or any account.

We keep conversation text for up to 30 days, then erase it; the record of how many turns you have used is deleted after 400 days. If you report a reply, we keep that reply and your reason on the same schedule so we can review it. Replies can be wrong, and you should not share personal, patient, or confidential information. To ask us to delete your conversations, email Assistance@BCConsulting.io.

Some characters link to public LinkedIn profiles or other websites. Those links open in your browser, and the destination site’s own privacy policy applies there.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with a revised effective date.
